recommended it ... we need to try it. Your wife might want to hit Kathy
Mulllins book store on the main road in Solvang, I think it is called The
Book Loft. They have an area upstairs dedicated to Hans Christian Anderson,
just around the corner from the Gutenberg press replica. I hear the coffee
shop there is good too. I went to school with her a long time ago and I
still run into her brothers occasionally around here. Her dad was one of
the last of the cattle barons, crochety, profane, dictatorial, but a very
straight man to those who depended on him for their living. Some fun
stories about him and the Four Corners/Hole in the Rock area he dominated
for so many years.
