With all of the joking aside, one of the founding members of ECTA - Tom Sarda
fell on Monday and broke his hip. I got to the hospital right after his
surgery and his first words were "well, there goes Bonneville this year". His
streamliner is still in his garage and it looks like it will be on hold for a
while. He is scheduled to be released on Friday, let's hope he can recover
from this. By the way, I asked him if they used ARP bolts on the break and he
says he sure hopes so. For those of you who know him, he has retained his
sense of humor - at least while the medication holds out!!!
