John,

Four wheel drive (AWD) is allowed in the production classes if the vehicle
being used originally came with AWD. AWD cannot be added to any vehicle
except those in the Special Construction Category (streamliners & lakesters)
and the four roadsters listed in Section II-16. I would think that a
rollbar/cage for a van might be difficult to construct, a lot of interior
area there.
