Just like most of you getting your projects ready, we had an exciting
few days this past week. We actually got our first dyno runs with the
bike which we never had done before.

How are everybody else's projects going?
Mike M. sent me some T-shirts courtesy of SCTA-BNI we have some 2000 El
Mirage T-shirts, some Muroc Shirts and more im getting the first contest
ready for this next week, so if you have any suggestions email them too
me. Im going to be running two contests this next week, first contest
will be a "slang name" for the "lurkers" on the site, I will be taking
submissions for names for a week then I will post them all and let you
vote. Second contest will be for a "slogan" for a get together night for
the email group and other land speed enthusiasts at Bonneville, again
submissions will be taken from the site and then everybody will
hopefully vote on the slogan for the get together and also there will be
a selection for the night we should should have it. Keep your eyes on
the site for the updates and the contests in the next day or two... I
will also post on email group when it is up and running.
I cant wait until bonneville to meet most of you more formally then by
email.

for some streamliner parts and or ideas this is out of my area if some
of you could help this guy it would be appreciated.
Project 2000 --- which is my updating during Bonneville 2000 daily with
pictures, video, commentary and so forth is coming along great, I have
tons of ideas, some of which are going thru beta testing for the site
right now. Video has been on my mind and several options have come to
me, we will see how everything turns out funds wise closer to
bonneville. There have already been some donations to the site so I
secured my connection to the internet during speedweek, anybody wanting
to stop by and send some emails, feel free, this isn't just my internet
time during bonneville, Its YOUR time too....
Right now im in the process of designing some banners for the pits, and
getting some magnets signs made for trailers and vehicles for peoples
rigs to help promote Land Speed Racing awareness, and looking into
getting some T-shirts made so if anybody knows of a businesses that
might help please let me know.
