Bob, Ted Wingate had TWO ' 32 ROADSTERS !!! Both were in
Hot Rod Mag, I believe, and I met Ted right here in Connecticut, around
1982 or '83, at the Ty Rods( I think )car show at Superior Spring, just north
of Hartford . He was quite a character and kept trying to sell me ONE Ardun
head . I asked him repeatedly, " What am I gonna do with ONE Ardun
head ? "
Looking back on that funny exchange, I wish to heck I HAD bought it,
considering what they go for nowadays ! I can think of at least three
persons on this list, and two that you and I know here in Connecticut,
that play with them and just might want to buy even ONE .......
Sometimes you can' t see the forest for the TREES !!!
Anybody here remember Ted Wingate, or know if he is still around ?
