In my Duster i have always used 20-50 Castrol Syntec after using regular
10-30 for a 20 minute breakin. I tear down the engine every four years as I
use the car as a driver and race car each summer. In this time period the
car will get about 100 dragstrip passes and is driven hard on the street.On
my last teardown the bearings showed virtually no wear and the cylinder wall
wear was negligible.Now that I use the car to do landspeed racing as well I
feel confident that from a reliability point of view additives are
unnecesary. Scott in the frozen but
