ORANGE MAY BE THE NEXT BIG COLOR FOR CARS
The latest auto show reports from Detroit would indicate
that bright orange may be the "in" color or cars in the
coming years. Over the past decade, car colors have been
getting lighter. The reason is now taste. Decades ago,
before the addition of air conditioning to most cars, the
lighter the car the cooler in summer. Now, according to
statistics from major car companies, more and more consumers
are opting for pastel colors and bright orange may become
the new favorite. Nissan, Mitsubishi, Saturn and Land Rover
showed orange models at this week's show.
