SAE/SWE is pleased to announce an exciting, special evening of
record-breaking, real life stories and award-winning photography
featuring Ms. Louise Ann "LandSpeed" Noeth. Louise is a renowned
freelance photojournalist and historian specializing on the many land
speed record attempts at Bonneville and Black Rock Desert.
Her presentation includes more than 90 full-color slide photos plus
an exclusive video of the recent world record breaking attempt while
on assignment for Sports Illustrated. Louise is a dynamic speaker
with inside information on many of the race teams, including Craig
Breedlove's Spirit of America and Richard Noble's ThrustSSC.
In addition to Sports Illustrated, Louise has done freelance and
investigative work for HOT ROD, CAR CRAFT, CAR, and Car&Driver.
Further, she was Breedlove's publicist and team administrator.
Although known as a journalist, Louise has an incredible technical
knowledge of the land speed record vehicles, not to mention that she
once raced jet dragsters!
Louise's most recent work is her critically acclaimed historical
photo-book, Bonneville Salt Flats.
