Dick, re the v.w. torsion bar suspension, on the plus side it's easy to narrow
it, widen it, raise it, lower it, you can fit shorter dampers and cut down the
shock towers you can even convert it to coil overs easily, parts are
plentyfull and cheap and you'd be hard pushed to break one, on the down side
they're uglier than a bag full of frogs.
