MOVE OVER! THIS IS TWO-LANES WIDE!
If you've ever gotten behind a massive SUV that you thought
should have sported an "Oversize Load" sign, just wait until
the new Unimog hits the road. The Atlanta Journal-
Constitution says it has learned that the planned
European-made SUV will be more than 9 1/2-feet tall, 20-feet
long and 7-feet wide. The new vehicle will weigh more than
6 tons. It's predicted to only get 10 miles per gallon.
The target market is wealthy people who have the money to
take it off road. Ironically, orders in the U.S. will be
taken at Freightliner truck dealers.
