Generally, lighter flywheels pick up RPM faster, which may not be want you
want in LSR racing. Momentum is a good thing over the longer haul, and quick
jumps in RPM are sometimes associated with wheelspin. I haven't been to
Maxton , so I don't know how this would shake out there. Lighter flywheels
might be great for quick acceleration on a good paved surface. Salt and dirt
don't seem to like the power applied quite that way. For "west of the
Mississippi" LSR use, I vote for heavier.
