Ford experimented with sixes & fives and even an ohc 6!.
One 161cuin 7 main unit dated 1932.
The SOHC engines [151-174 cubes] were tried with gear
& chain cam drives from 1938.
Henry s experiments with 5 cyls included OHC, L-head
And some with Alloy blocks in the mid forties.
They never solved the ballance problems & so were abandoned.
