All. I am going to Simpson in Indy tomorrow to shop for firesuits. Do you guys
think a sfi 15 or 20 will be legal for a while with the SCTA? I went thru the
"upgrade the suit" game with the NHRA years ago and do not want to do it now.
A sfi 15 would be legal for the fuel altered that I have been invited to drive
for a friend at the drags and I think okay for B"ville for all classes (for
now). Simpson has one at a reduced price that was custom made, the only
problem is, it is PURPLE and white. Also, how long will Snell 2000 helmets be
legal? What is the trend here on upgrades?
Just trying to save a buck while doing it right.......
and.. purple doesn't make you a bad person!
