But don't forget that you have to do something with the rod length or piston
pin placement with an offset ground crank.
It is still probably the least expensive way to go, but you have to have at
least one 'non-stock' dimension to make it work.

And, on another issue, you can't run a 3-inch crank with a .030 overbore
because it is too big (306+ cubes). 
You can run .020 overbore (304.6 cubes) but it is cutting it pretty close.
The advantage I see with the offset ground crank is that you can run a .030
overbore, which makes it easier to find a block (and maybe even get some
pistons that don't cost an arm and a leg).
