9/17/01 update ...
Had a call last evening from a guy who had been on the salt all day long.
He said there was a little standing water at the end of the access road
(expected) and the wheels on his ATV threw up wet salt as he crossed
straight over to the dike but there were none of the little puddles in the
depressions. He turned North and traveled up to where he could see the
weather station and things dried out as he drove along. Looks like great
racing conditions with expected highs in the low 80's for the rest of the
week.
