  Keith,
      Bit o' knowledge, eh?
Years ago I read a magazine article by a fellow reminiscing about his
grandfather. The old man lived in Maine and was a farmer I think, but most
importantly the grandson observed the old guy could do ANYTHING; fix it, build
it, solve the problem, whatever. His favorite image of him was him walking
behind a building he was moving, the oxen knew the way and a couple of kids
were enjoying replacing the exiting rollers to the leading edge of the
structure. Granpa had a big grin on his face as he chewed a piece of straw.
His motto was "If it's hard, it's wrong" and I try to invoke it whenever I'm
doing something where the method isn't obvious and I find myself pushing a
rope....Bob Jepson

Thanks for the welcome. I've been in the wings listening. My '27 F/Bstreet
roadster project is coming along pretty well; I constantly lookat photos of
the Barbee Boy's effort and bug Rick Byrnes with techquestions on making power
with a 2.3 Turbo Ford (he knows).Unfortunately I put the pieces together for a
picture before I went tothe salt last month, just to show the guys I really am
going alongpretty well, only to have the bride put two and two together, "What
areyou doing out there, building one of THOSE BONNEVILLE CARS!!!!??????Beyond
the marital discord, I'm really enjoying building the car. It'lllook good and
go like spook I bet. I've no schedule for completion...Dick J wrote:
