Someone mentioned a pictorial review of past record breakers (mostly
laksters/streamliners) in the upcoming December issue of Hot Rod. It's
extremely well done and a great promotion for our sport. A few pagers further
and you'll find, Oh No, NASCAR on the Salt. David Frieburger did an excellent
rendition of what it's like to take a ride over 200 MPH a B'Ville. It was like
re-living it for me and I'm very proud to have David pilot the Bird, he's an
excellent driver and storyteller. I'm also very proud to see the Bird be a
Centerfold for Hot Rod. As a kid growing up I couldn't imagine seeing my name
in print in the number one auto magazine. I hope you all get to see/read it.
