Wes, The Dozier & Hegarty late ' 30s DeSoto Airflow sedan also has a
very
well built hinged side bars roll cage segment on the driver's side door
.........
and is a very interesting yesteryear aerodynamic trailblazer, with
considerable
resemblance to Dr. Ferdinand Porsche' s 1934 design for Hitler's "people's
car",
the long lived and world traveled Volkswagen Bug ....... still seen on our
highways in its latest metamorphisis . The Hegarty doorslammer and
its various powerplants always got a goodly share of my car detail study
and photograph time ...... a real classic and typical of the amazing variety
of
LSR vehicles ....... Run Whatcha Brung at its Best !!!
Bruce in Connecticut where it's not too bad at 49 * this morn ........
