IN LIGHT OF YOUR SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES KEITH, ( DIRT, DUST, ETC ETC ) WHY
NOT TRY SOMETHING LIKE LAUNDRY OR DISH DETERGENT ? POUR, OR SQUIRT IT ON
EVERY SO OFTEN. MAYBE IT WONT ATTRACT DIRT AS MUCH AS ANY GREASES OR SPRAY
LUBES ...? AND I THINK IT WILL ACT AS A "LUBE"
WELL,.... SORT OF.
THEN, WHEN IT GETS NASTY "DIRTY", WASH IT OFF AND START OVER
JUST A THOUGHT OFF THE CUFF, MEBBE IT'LL WORK, MEBBE NOT...

Anyone out there know of a quality Dry spray lubrication for gears?
Here is my problem.... I have a 1/2 Yard concrete mixer that never gets
turned off.... so the big drum gear and the little countershaft gear wearout
regularly..... like one every 6 months.... what my thoughts right now are to
convert it to a belt drive as it's much less susciptable to wear but to do
that I have to completely re-engineer the machine.... ( I've already set it
up in my mind.... but don't have time right this minute )
Just thought maybe our collective knowledge might have a semi temporary
solution....
Grease doesn't work by the way as it attracts sand which wears the gears
even faster
