I'm sure there will be lots of different ways to make sheet metal bends
suggested here but here's mine:

If the sheet metal isn't too thick or hard, clamp it with C- clamps between
two pieces of wood on both sides of the bend and fold it over. This gives
you a radius on the bend; a better radius is formed if you put a piece of
appropriate diameter pipe on the edge of the wood so the metal is bent
around it.

Soft aluminum can be held between two thick pieces of wood with a vise in
the middle and two C- clamps on the ends and, using another piece of wood
held against the exposed sheet metal edge, hammer on the wood (not the
metal) to bend the edge over to the desired angle. If you have a router, you
could put a radius on the inside wood block if you need a radius .

I recommend using rock Maple for forming blocks. It is very hard and holds
up well when hammered on.

larger 
pieces of sheet metal ? I mean larger than with hand tools,but smaller than
