Hi Folks, to add to the stories about fuel injection, some years back
Stu Hilborn wrote and published his own article about "how he did it."
One amusing anecdote he told was how, in the late '40s when he was
working out his prototype on his kitchen table, and took it to some car
shows, numerous engineers looked at it and said "How is the injection
timed?" He would answer, "It works with continuous flow, timing is not
necessary for a racing fuel injector." He said every one of them shook
their heads sorrowfully and said, "That will NOT work." Ardun Bill
