I know everyone wants to know what happened and what we are doing regarding
Tom's accident. First it was an XO/PRO class car. It was a 123 mph run and at
the end of the run the vehicle went into a spin and rolled several times.Tom
recieved serious injuries to his leg, arm and chest. The investigation team
has reviewed the incident and had a post inspection of the vehicle. There are
several areas of concern as to what failed and what can be done to correct it.
This is not something that happens overnight and the safety and rules
committee are hard at work working on the safety changes.
The SCTA will publish the changes and safety requirements in the very near
future.

It's good to hear that Tom's well enough to go home. I read the other day
that his accident is resulting in a quick review of, and possible changes in
rules. Can you fill in a little detail on exactly what happened in his
mishap, and the impact it's having on the rules?
