A Land Speed Record team from England will be trying to break the FIA
Electric Speed Record on a 'new' salt flat in North Africa - which just
about borders Europe. The meditteranean sea laps its North and East
Coasts. The Country is Tunisia. The desert is known as the Chot el Jerid
- its on the maps.

Whilst the sports people have only agreed to a single vehicle attempt thus
far it may be possible to think of a European Salt Track (long course) in
the coming years.

Will let you all know more as it happens.
