Folks, Dale takes first prize for declaring JAP stands for J. A. Prestwich. Jeff Clew's '88 history book, "JAP - The End of an Era" says John Alfred Prestwich was the founder of J. A. Prestwich & Co. Ltd., at Tottenham, London, England. Way back in the Dark Ages, before World War One.
