Local weather forecast this morning ...
Seven day forecast talks about thunderstorms over the "high country" on
Saturday ... usually that means the mountains east of here so it should be
warm with clouds over the salt if the weather follows the usual course with
such forecasts. Highs in the low nineties and lows in the mid sixties are
predicted.
Remember the SPF 32 sunscreen. No sense being sunburned and uncomfortable
after the first day on the salt. I really like the Clinique spray sunscreen
you can buy at cosmetics counters in better department stores. It goes on
easily, isn't sticky, doesn't smell and the cost, about $16, is the same as
the equivalent amount of other sun protection products. Not a lot of waste
with the spray either. It stays on better than most products but you need
to refresh the spray a couple of times during the day as you rub it off.
Should be good racing weather unless there is a change in the sub-tropical
jet stream.
