Thank you Brian,

I have yet to place blame and thanks to the various people who have gotten
me to this point.

First, I blame Keith Young for renewing my interest in LSR after a stint in
the Air Force. Keith's philosophy is that as racers we should give something
back to the organization. Miler Mike Stewart got me involved with tech
inspection. Monte Wolfe, the late Gary Cagle and Les Leggitt got me involved
with the Board of Directors.

I am blessed with all the wonderful friends, sometimes not immediate
friends, I have made through this sport. I have been doing this for so long
that the children who were running around just a few years ago getting in
the way are now being married and having kids of their own.

Thanks go to so many people it is hard to list them all. All the volunteers
we can count on each year to do these events, they make the way smooth and
give a professional look to a strictly amateur event. Lee Kennedy, Terry
Kilbourn & Gerry Musil who were gracious enough to let me get my 2 club hat
at El Mirage in their Monza. Rich Manchen, Mike Manghelli and Lee again who
let me work on the Alfa and gain valuable experience and my first 200+ drive
at Bonneville. Mike & Pam Manghelli, Jim Miller and the rest of our group
who make our pit the most fun at the salt. Mike, Pam and all the others who
have work hard to get our timing and record keeping systems up to speed, so
much better than the #2 pencil and legal pad we had years ago.

My thanks also to JD Tone, Jim Miller, Miler Mike Stewart who make me look
good in the impound area.

Last, but not least, to my wife of 19 years - Joanie, whose enthusiasm and
passion allow me to do this thing that I love so much.

Dan
