The problem I see with solid rubber tires is the rotating mass and chuncking
off pieces of the rubber. We spend a lot of time picking up rubber from the
course off of standard racing tires each meet. Even tossing a small amount
of rubber causes big time out of balance conditions. It's a tough call, but
what we need is a tire MFG. to step up and work with the LSR tire issue.
