Greets,

I'm trying to find more info out there on things like tires and steering
mechanisms. Like for example, where does one even begin to find a tire
capable of 350 or more mph? I'm guessing the local discount tire won't
sell them. And most (ok, all) of the high speed tires I can find are for
dragsters and such. What do you use for the motorcycle streamliners? Drag
tires would be awfully big for a 2-wheel creation; that's been nagging at
me. (I get bored at work a lot, what can I say)

I'm also trying to find information on hub-steering mechanisms. There are
some production systems out there but not a lot of technical data on
them. Does anyone have any links or whatever I could look at?

I'd love to build a streamliner some day and race it out there, if even
just to say "I did that". It will be a while before that happens, but that
hasn't stopped my mind from trying to build the better mousetrap
(speedtrap? heh). I just look at it as more design time... :)

Cheers,
- Ralph Forsythe
