Wow, I bet that was impressive!  Modern air power is amazing, but the old
stuff is just soooo beautiful.  I understand they lost a pilot earlier in
the week in the sport class ...  :-(

                At the Reno air races Saturday there was one fly over that
that
                really thrilled me.

                In Close Diamond Formation ..

                Lead, F-15 Eagle   full flaps, very nose high.
                Off the wings of the F-15 Eagle, two P-51 Mustangs.
                Flying trail below the F-15 Eagle a P-38 Lightning.

                What a sight.
                Bryan (the last time I saw a P-38 flying was in the '40's)
