As I recall, Andy Green had several chute problems on his record attempts and
they ended up losing turn around time on at least one run as they over shot
the entended stopping area and had to be towed back. In the end the newer
stronger tow lines were made of kevlar. I would have to dig into the files to
retreave this but they don't have the weight or limited stopping space at
Black Rock as we do on the salt.
