Wes, The Studebaker picture you displayed is the Black Velvet owned by
Studebaker Joe. It runs in competition coupe class with it's chopped top. In
the modified section of the 2002 rule book is the discription of a legal
airdam. It specifies that the airdam may extend straight down from the
bumper. The airdam in the picture is entirely behind the bumper and
therefore I believe it is legal. I believe the intent of the reg. is to
