In my tear drop red herring post I included a link to a site which 
explains the raindrops shape.

This afternoon I decided to see who's page it was and see if there was 
more to learn, so I edited the URL and went to

Turns out he's interested in the aerodynamics of cars! So I browsed 
his Fluids Image Gallery and found...

He also discusses Vortex Flow, Shock Waves and a number of other 
interestin phenomena.

Guess I made a round trip LSR to raindrops and back again.
