Check out your local mountaineering or rock-climbing shop. Tubular nylon
webbing is used to make slings, etc., and it's usually available in a choice
of sizes & colors.

Help,  I need to find some 1" tubular nylon webbing to make my chute
teathers or risers out of.  I have seen it in surplus stores in the past but
can't find any now--would appreciate andy help or phone numbers where I
might find some.
