List, The latest issue of "Wired" magazine has a blurb on a new Michelin
tire called the Pax that has been driven to 223 on Italy's Nardo high-speed
test track. It's a 'run-flat' tire and has a wireless transmitter in the tire
valve that will send temperature and pressure data to your dash. Goodyear has
picked up a licence for the technology. Also, this issue(March) is devoted to
SPEED --all forms - with an interesting article on an attempt to break the
water speed record.
