Sure Mayf -I had GER parts in my 4 speed Muncie "crash-box" in my 11 second
D/MP Ch**y Che*elle in 1970.  They make (made ??) good stuff.

GER is probably who "makes" the stuff, -with the other guys being simply a
"middleman."

Hey, ever'body's got a right to make a buck don't they ??

Just thumbing my through a new Speedway catalog and when I turned over the
back cover, I found an interesting ad. It was for a tranny called the
"Falcon Racing Transmission". Kind neat! It is a manual trans with 2 gears;
a 2.46 low gear and 1:1 high gear and reverse. It has a hydraulic operated
clutch inside the case and used only a flex plate. Says the gears are light
weight (I gues for low inertia). It is for a ch**y.. The input shaft couples
directly with the crank flange . Anyone using a system like this? Might be
worth investigating and it is pretty inexpensive, only 1250 bucks. Second is
abot my favoorite: Ford AOD (well not exactly my favorite, but...) In Muscle
Mustangs and Fast Fords there is a one page ad by a company called Precision
Converter & Transmission selling something with a name of GER which has a 5
year limited waranty. They offer a rebuilt AOD with a torque converter stall
you sellect up to 4200 rpm. Anybody ever heard of these guys? Any experience
with the product? The street tranny with lock up converter is only 1099
while the strip unit is only 1800
