Rick, my earlier post doesn't look like it made it
through LSR cyber space so I will repost:
Has the cylinder head ever been shot cleaned with
steel shot? These divots are similar in size/shape to
more common cleaning shot. This shot can survive even
the most robust evacuation methods and if left behind,
often dislodge and fall in cylinder bores. I have seen
this before.
