I guess with alcohol you would want 14 to 16:1. Have personally run N2O with
12:1. Thinking Keith has been higher than that.
Cylinder pressure is going to go up with N2O. Guess the question is how much
will the gaskets and studs hold?

G'day mates
Ok a question say my static CR is 11:1 with new pistons (custom made ) now
unless I have 100% volumetric efficiency VE my dynamic CR will not be 11:1
but less ( I think this is correct ) now if I add N2O injection will this
increase my V.E? It will increase pressures inside the cyclinders
considerabley will this increase the CR above 11:1 ? why I ask is Im trying
to find a CR that will allow me to run methanol normally aspirated and
produce reasonable HP but not to high so when I turn on the N2O its not to
high because Im having custom pistons made I can specify the static CR,
any ideas guys as to the best CR
Gary who is spending lots of time in the shed and not on the puter
