It was great to start the season at the May meet. Equally great to see
familiar faces we don't usually see until Speedweek. (KT, Tonia, and Cris &
Ed)
My 4 year old daughter Kaylin got to do a little "fill time" in the
announcing booth. This is the main reason she wants to go to the "Dirt Flats"
as she calls El Mirage.
I talked with Ken Walkey today and he is recovering nicely from surgery last
week. He expects to be back in regular seat behind the microphone for the
June meet.
Monza---- well we did not do as well as we hoped this meet. I had major
handling problems this time and pulled early to a 145 trap speed. (went 194
last meet) So its to the chassis shop to check the alignment. Any other ideas
would be welcomed.
