somebody was asking about steam cars, there is no engine size in the omega 
class, just what the engine is propelled by, use either reciprocating or 
turbine, ( which IMHO should be separated as the Stanley record of 1906 was 
a recip, and the 1986 record was a turbine. the Barber car ('86) was mostly 
Lear stuff, somewhat modified to actually run, carried a LOT of batteries, 
my understanding was over 1100 lbs of them, as just the blower motor alone 
used 260 amps at 24 v. Fuel consumption was 56 gph of jp-a kerosene, RWD 
with a FWD eldorado differential, no trans, gear reduction box: turbine 
@80,000 2 stage reduction down to 5,000 rpm output...
