Yeah, good article, but what's with the two runs within 4 hours on the same
day???

                Tom, VERY interesting article, thanks for bringing to us.
Sam Wheeler
                and Terry Kizer had a great outing at World Finals and Sam
is certainly
                nipping at the heels of the World Record.  All he has to do
is put two
                good runs together at that level.
                I think Sam will do it next year!

                I do fault the article for being perhaps a bit confusing to
an
                unschooled reader.  The 334 was the reported exit speed on
the Long
                Course.  It was also reported that Sam did 226 for a mile on
the same
                run.
                 
                But up to the moment the official World FIM Record remains
the 322.149
                mph by Dave Campos in the Easyriders 'liner with
Harley-based power in
