We're building a Henry J with the blown flathead out of our Bonneville
racecar to mostly drag race. I was wondering what standard transmission you
guys might suggest (money is limited). I'm figuring to use an aluminum
flywheel, blowproof bellhousing for a small block ford as we already have an
adaptor from flathead to c4 auto with the sbf bolt pattern. I don't know
what clutch and trans might work best and still be reasonably priced. I
don't think we'll ever have over 300 lbs of torque. I'm thinking T5, super
T10, ford toploader, muncie... Phil
