Local eccentric inventor and Land Speed Racing enthusiast Keith , "drive
the Bus", Hooper crashed and burned in his inaugural test run in Westchester
,NY. Hooper, who usually wears a helmet and rides a smaller bus, was "
completely
overwhelmed by the combined wind-shear and Aero instability at speed " (56mph
est). He was transferred to the appropriate local hospital,given a distemper
shot and released. He still dreams of a future match race with Bonneville
