basically we made 3 pass's.... the first one was mine... I just shutdown
about the 7/8 mile point... I know this is going to sound corny... but I was
going way to fast... even thou I stroked first and second gear... we were
trying one of the new Stroud Ribbon chutes and I didn't want to find out the
hard way it wasn't adequate for Maxton... so I went through the lights with
the chute out and still ran 188 on entry and 182 out the back of the
132'.... so the chute's work fine...

Then Tonya just made a slow pass... like 140 or so.... and then I asked her
to be more agressive on the launch so she could get a basic feel for how the
car felt with the tires spinning.... she of course left the push truck like
Jack the bear and about burnt up a set a hides before becoming engulfed in
smoke.... thinking there was something wrong she simply shut it down... (
perfect ) anyway John let her run the car off the course thru the lights and
she ran 178 in about 3/4 of a mile... again just kinda stroking it easy...

I'll get into the downforce data when I can speak more intelligently about
it.... it downloaded.. and I looked at it this morning... but I'm to tired
to explain it....

The rest of the meet was great.... Don Biglow ran real fast with Bob
Durnheim's Lakester... Randy Dupree had his Northstar in the Fiat... and
other then that it was a great meet.
