BobB;

I'd take those restrictors out completely. You need a flow of oil to
lubricate and also to cool.

Subject: sbc motor question

I have just got my C sbc together and running. My question is to do
with
lifter gallery restrictors. The drag guys seem to use ones with .060
holes in
them and that is what I have. I broke the motor in without any and am
now
looking at putting them in. I am concerned that it will restrict too
much
for a bonneville run. My motor has solid lifters, isky flat tappet cam
and
full roller rockers. I am thinking about .100 might be a decent number.
Any
help would be great.
BobB
