to George Fields Trackmaster - the front end, designed by Tom Burkland is a
extrem down force producer - a friend of mine in the Stuttgart-Vaihingen
Unversity windtunnel done a computer symmulation - by 300 km/h appr. 186 mph -
this front end will produce around 600 pounds downforce - no wonder that he
went back to solid front suspension - when he runs the spring solution he
destroyed more than once his tire contacting the body work (wheel arch).
To Keith Turk - yeap the car is ducking when he pulls the chute - there is
always a small salt cloud for a moment around the front end. Also the car is
wipping a little bit during the shifting - I saw this on mile 1 1/2 when Tonya
done her return run.
