there is again a lot of question to the same "thing"....aerodynamic.
1. The relation between length and the "taper" angle.
No, a shorter vehicle will be not better with a higher angle.
The "why" explain the Kamm (Heck) Rear End - this rules said, that a
car needs not the a minimum on length to get the right aerodynamic
using the 6 degrees rule. As a example - if you got a shape - base on
6 degrees - with 22 feet length - and you cut them off (on the end)
that you got a length of 18 feet - the mathematical aerodynamic drag
is (nearly) the same.
2. Why I done the nearly in () - this is the next rule, this one said
that length is speed.
If you got a two vehicles with the same clean shape, the vehicle which
is longer is getting the smoother airflow. The same is with a boat,
this hull which is longer on the waterline is faster in his own base
speed than a hull which is shorter.
