Thamks a lot for the great photo, Glen ..... terrific ! I have always
loved
those rear engined 27Ts ..... two from way back come to mind besides
my all-time favorite competition car : the Speed Sport Roadster .........
Red Henslee and also the salt-scorching beauty of the Dahm Bros !
Chauvin Emmons even built one for the STREET way back, Hemi & all !
I got to meet and talk with him and his front engined roadster at one of my
earlier Speedweek visits . Very clever builder . You can be very proud and
happy you got the opportunity back in that great era to drive such a great
car at both the drags and Bonneville / lakes .
      If I was presently in a $$$ position to build a racer in my 28 X 48
garage built for that very purpose, it would most definitely be a 27T
roadster,
and probably FRONT engined to avoid all the rules/ class hassles ......
      B & N (?) out of Sacramento had a great silver & red beauty, I seem to
recall, and I always liked the red one I eyeballed at several Speedweeks that
I think Katie Cortez & her dad now own .....smooth & sleek ! The gorgeous
black injected rat motored T, # 00 is also an astoundingly nice car !
Is that Jim Dincau's roadster ? Took a bunch of pics of that !
I could go on and on and on here, so I'll just close with Thanks for
sharing that great picture of you and your yesteryear racecar ........
Till next time ...... ENJOY every day and night, too !
Bruce, where the CT shoreline temp is now ...... Ha Ha , what a
coincidence !!! ....... 27* It Really Is .
