Turning the body around allows you to take advantage of the MR rule of
unlimited streamlining FORWARD of the firewall. So the forward part is
now facing backwards.  That would make Pork Pie and many others happy
because now the 6% rule can kick-in and you can have a very clean
termination of the body. However, a small problem. Rules dictate the
driver must be completely forward of the REAR axel. By your own
definition, you now have the REAR axel up front (regardless of which end
is transmitting power). That means the driver will have to be crammed
into the very tiny space forward of the axel in the short trunk, with no
modification to the body allowed in that area. Not too plausible.  -Elon
