NOTE: I don't "know" what the answer is.....
But -
I do know that, generally, the less you monkey with airflow,
the better off you are.

Isn't it better to let the tire "try" to pump air and fail than for it
to be successful and move 100 lb. of air a minute? (or some number)
I would rather have the tire in a tight wheel well where it might
cavitate instead of pump.
