OIL ---- using oil has risks. Make sure you know what you are doing!
Get cheap 30 weight NON detergent oil. Put enough oil in a large
enough container that the container is 1/2 full, for safety, and you have
plenty of room for your part. Put it outside with a CO2 extinguisher
about 5 feet away. Take your time.
(If you can get NON detergent drain oil, it works fine)
Remember, quenching in oil hardens the surface a bit, it's like
Case Hardening Light.
WATER
Again, large container 1/2 full. When the part stops boiling water,
add about 30 seconds and it's done.
